Credit cards for beginners who want to earn frequent flyer points. Looking at getting a credit card for points? Start here: Qantas Premier Platinum • 70,000 Qantas points with $3,000 minimum spend (+30,000 points if you haven’t earned qantas points with a credit card in the past 12 months) • 2 lounge passes • 20% off for you and 8 friends once a year on some domestic flights • Travel insurance • $349 first year fee ANZ rewards platinum (Velocity points) • 70,000 bonus Velocity Points • $2,000 minimum spend over 3 months • Travel insurance • $149 annual fee There are SO many different cards with lots of different pros, cons and benefits. These are not the only good cards out there, I’d have to make an hour long YouTube video to compare them all. Offers also regularly change so these won’t always be the best. Before deciding to get one, make sure you have a solid cash flow system, emergency fund, and plan to pay it off every month. Credit card providers offer these benefits because they make money off them. They are NOT for everyone. Both of these have 6k minimum credit limits. There are other good cards out there but some of them have 15k minimum limits which is HUGE. Make sure to do your research, read the t&cs, and check for up to date info directly with the card providers. *info accurate as of 18u002F08u002F24 ☺️ • This content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a suggestion or recommendation that you apply for, or a statement as to the suitability of, any particular credit product for you.
