INFO:
How do you handle constant competition between siblings 3 and 5 years old, arguing over who goes first, whose plate is bigger … the list goes on and on. I’m gonna give you one example of that, it’s just an idea on how you handle this. Let’s say you have two kids and you go to the park and there’s one swing. Here’s what I would say. I’m gonna say, look, I’m gonna flip a coin or have a rock in your hand and put it behind your back and change hands. So whoever wins goes first, but you only get a one minute turn. I’m gonna time it. And every turn after that is two minutes. So you’re teaching them how to share. A lot of parents are so focused on teaching your children what not to do, they forget to teach them what to do. That’s just one way of handling this sort of thing. Not sure where to start in your calm leadership journey?
